Social Responsibility | Wanyang Group Awarded 2022 Zhejiang Private Enterprise Social Responsibility Top 100 Leading Enterprises

On March 26, at the 2023 China Private Economy Development (Taizhou) Forum, the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce released the list of 100 leading private enterprises in Zhejiang in 2022 for their social responsibility. Wanyang Group was named among the 100 leading enterprises for its outstanding performance in undertaking social responsibilities and participating in charitable public welfare.

Wanyang Group was named one of the 100 leading enterprises for its outstanding performance in undertaking social responsibilities and participating in charitable public welfare activities.

List of 100 Leading Enterprises in Zhejiang's Private Sector Social Responsibility in 2022 (Partial List)

Wanyang Group has always been committed to developing the Wanyang Innovation City model into a new platform for industrial poverty alleviation. It has integrated social resources and introduced advantageous industries to support education, poverty alleviation, and employment, assist weak rural collective economies, participate in East-West industrial poverty alleviation projects, and contribute to the high-quality development of the 26 mountainous counties in Zhejiang Province, thus opening up new channels for poverty alleviation.

It is understood that this evaluation involved on-site visits to private enterprises and chambers of commerce across the province, with both online and offline efforts, collecting data from 3279 enterprises. The initial selection was based on 9 quantitative indicators (including tax payments, employment numbers, and participation in charitable public welfare) and 45 qualitative indicators across 8 dimensions (national, shareholder, employee, ecological environment, and responsible governance). The review committee provided its assessment, ultimately resulting in the selection of 100 leading enterprises in Zhejiang's private sector social responsibility in 2022.
