Towards a Bright Future in Yangcheng | Grand Opening of the Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanyang Science and Technology City Investment Promotion Center

On the morning of June 16th, the opening ceremony of the Wanyang Science and Technology City project investment promotion center in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, was grandly held in Xiancun Town. Ho Yang, Deputy Secretary of the District Committee and District Mayor; Lin Yihui, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and Executive Deputy District Mayor; leaders from relevant district departments and towns; representatives from cooperative banks, enterprises, and business associations; Lin Xiaofei, General Manager of Wanyang Makerspace in Guangzhao region; and Dou Jinjun, General Manager of the Zengcheng project, all attended the opening ceremony of the investment promotion center and witnessed the blossoming of the Wanyang model in this vibrant land of Zengcheng.

With the strong support of the Zengcheng District government leadership team and the attention of all sectors of society, the Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanyang Science and Technology City Investment Promotion Center officially opened to the public, marking the full launch of the project's investment promotion work and the official commencement of the 1.1 million square meter high-end manufacturing industrial city in Zengcheng District. In just a few dozen days, a brand-new and beautiful investment promotion center has sprung up, fully demonstrating the efficient and innovative coordination mechanism and excellent business environment of the Zengcheng District government and functional departments, and once again showcasing the Wanyang speed.

At the ceremony, Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanyang Science and Technology City signed credit agreements with six banks: China Bank Panyu Branch, Industrial Bank Zengcheng Branch, Zheshang Bank Guangzhou Development Zone Branch, Minsheng Bank Baiyun Wanda Branch, Xingye Bank Zengcheng Branch, and Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank Zengcheng Branch.

Led by a festive lion dance performance, Lin Xiaofei, General Manager of Guangzhao Region; Dou Jinjun, General Manager of Zengcheng Project; Ji Hong, Deputy General Manager; and Huang Zuming, Deputy General Manager, performed the "dotting the eyes" ceremony for the lion, bestowing upon it powerful positive energy. This brought the event to a climax, marking a new chapter for the Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanyang Science and Technology City project and signifying good fortune and prosperity for the Zengcheng Wanyang project every day!

The Guangzhou Zengcheng Wanyang Science and Technology City is a key provincial project and one of the first pilot projects for the renovation and upgrading of industrial clusters in Guangzhou. The park covers 640 mu (approximately 42.7 hectares) of land, with a total construction area of approximately 1.1 million square meters. It is expected to attract about 300 enterprises and provide approximately 15,000 jobs.
