The construction of the Shunde Wanyang Digital Equipment Park has been fully implemented, adding approximately 1.3 million square meters of space.

Southern Metropolis Daily reported: On December 29, the groundbreaking ceremony for Phase III of the Shunde Longjiang (Wanyang) Digital Equipment Industrial Park was held in Longjiang Town, Shunde District, marking the full implementation of the Shunde Wanyang Digital Equipment Park and the initial formation of the thousand-mu park. It is understood that the Shunde Longjiang (Wanyang) Digital Equipment Industrial Park is built in three phases, adding about 1.3 million square meters of high-specification industrial carriers. It is a modern industrial park built by Longjiang in line with the new development concept and integrating industry, city, and humanities. It is also a bridgehead of the more than 20-square-kilometer Longjiang Digital Industrial City, one of the few in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The park mainly focuses on the development of digital equipment industries such as 3C manufacturing equipment, automation equipment, precision parts processing, digital optoelectronics, smart home appliances, and auto parts.

It is understood that the Shunde Longjiang (Wanyang) Digital Equipment Industrial Park is located in the western part of Longjiang Town, Shunde District. The original land was collectively owned. It is the first thousand-mu village-to-industrial park in Foshan City that has been transformed from collective land to state-owned land and registered and stored, and has been comprehensively transformed through public transactions. It mainly focuses on the development of digital equipment industries such as 3C manufacturing equipment, automation equipment, precision parts processing, digital optoelectronics, smart home appliances, and auto parts.

The park is built in three phases. Through public transactions, Zhejiang Wanyang Group successively won the bids for the land plots of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III of the park, totaling 709.35 mu (approximately 473,000 square meters), to build the Wanyang Innovation City. Phase I covers 153 mu (approximately 102,000 square meters) with a construction area of approximately 280,000 square meters. The project approval took only 9 days, and it took only 90 days from the official start to the successful completion of multiple factory buildings, setting a new speed record for Shunde at that time. Currently, Phase I has completed its recruitment, and all buildings have been completed and delivered. 55 high-quality enterprises have successfully secured their intention to move in, and some enterprises have started production. Phase II plans to use approximately 110 mu (approximately 73,300 square meters) of land with a construction area of approximately 230,000 square meters, and some buildings are expected to be completed in 2021. Phase III plans to use approximately 446 mu (approximately 297,300 square meters) of land with a construction area of approximately 820,000 square meters, and plans to build standard factory buildings and high-end customized factory buildings.

"In order to provide comprehensive and high-quality services for enterprise development, based on the summary of construction experience, Wanyang Group organically combines the implementation of the new development concept, high-quality development, and the upgrading and transformation of village-level industrial parks, and proposes a "tailor-made" service approach for enterprise factory buildings, exploring a new path of "tailor-made"—matching factory buildings with project formats to provide "turnkey" factory buildings and supporting facilities for enterprises." Wanyang Group Chairman Su Xiaofeng introduced that this approach not only saves enterprises a large amount of secondary factory building costs but also saves construction time, greatly shortening the time it takes for enterprises to move into new factory buildings, which has been welcomed by enterprises.

It is worth noting that at the groundbreaking ceremony of Phase III of the Shunde Longjiang (Wanyang) Digital Equipment Industrial Park, representatives from multiple banks, including Shunde Rural Commercial Bank, took the stage for a credit approval ceremony. It is reported that Wanyang Group uses its corporate credit to provide transitional guarantees, introduces large professional financial institutions, and enables small and micro enterprises to enjoy financial services with the group's credit rating, providing a replicable and promotable model for solving the problems of land acquisition, construction, and financing difficulties for small and medium-sized enterprises.

"Since April 2019, when the construction of Wanyang Phase I project started, it took only 90 days for some high-rise factory buildings to be topped out. By April 2020, Phase I was officially opened and operated, and Phase II project started. Today, Phase III project officially started. This fully demonstrates the Wanyang speed and the acceleration of Longjiang's village transformation." Sun Chungang, deputy secretary of the Longjiang Town Party Committee and town head, said that this also marks the full implementation of the Shunde Wanyang Digital Equipment Park and the initial formation of the thousand-mu park.

Sun Chungang introduced that while promoting the construction of industrial carriers, the supporting facilities of the park have also achieved significant results. "Currently, Longjiang West Road has been included in the district's key projects, and all work is being carried out in an orderly and accelerated manner; the Hanyang Bilingual School, a nine-year consistent school with a capacity of 48 classes, started construction on November 24 and will be put into use in 2022; the rural revitalization of Xian Tang Village has taken shape, with the village environment improving and living facilities continuously improving. At the same time, the district and town governments are studying special support and subsidies for enterprises in the Shunde (Longjiang) Digital Equipment Park in terms of rent, fixed asset investment, taxable sales, and R&D. A plan is currently available."

Sun Chungang also revealed that two projects with investments exceeding 10 billion yuan will be officially launched in Longjiang in the near future. The Haitian High-end Intelligent Equipment Ecological Industrial Base will start construction on January 6, 2021; and the new material project of Liansuo Group will also start construction in the middle and late January 2021. "Next, Longjiang will continue to take the transformation of village-level industrial parks as a key point, promote the vigorous "transformation" and high-quality "construction" of village transformation to a new level, expand industrial space, develop the real economy, live up to expectations, and strive to make greater contributions to Shunde's construction of a new era Guangdong pilot area for implementing the new development concept."

"The Shunde Wanyang Digital Equipment Industrial Park is an important part of the Longjiang Digital Equipment City and a major milestone achievement in Longjiang's construction of modern themed industrial parks. Liang Weipei, member of the Standing Committee of the Shunde District Committee, said that currently, the transformation of village-level industrial parks in Shunde has become a trend, shifting from "simultaneous demolition and construction" to focusing on planning and constructing future-oriented modern themed industrial parks. Among them, Longjiang is not only a benchmark for the transformation of village-level industrial parks in Shunde, but also leads the way in the construction of themed parks.
