5 Million! Wanyang Group Establishes the "Wanyang Scholarship" at Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College

Recently, Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College held a grand ceremony for the 2021 Wanyang Scholarship and Grant. At the ceremony, school and enterprise leaders jointly awarded the Wanyang Scholarship and Grant to the recipients. The Wanyang Scholarship and Grant of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College was donated by Mr. Su Xiaofeng, the chairman of Wanyang Group and the first graduate of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College, on behalf of the group. A total of 5 million yuan was donated. Each year, 30 students are awarded 10,000 yuan each, making it the highest single scholarship in the history of the college. Additionally, 40 students are given grants of 5,000 yuan each. Established in 1998, Wanyang Group is an operator of manufacturing industry clusters and a service provider for SMEs. It has developed over 70 million square meters of park areas in the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and other key urban centers, with over 15,000 companies housed and an annual revenue of 20 billion yuan. In 2021, the group was ranked among the top 500 private enterprises in China and listed among the top 100 private enterprises in Zhejiang Province. In the same year, Mr. Yuan Yongjun, President of the Group's East Zhejiang Division (a graduate of the 2001 class of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College), was awarded the title of "National Advanced Individual in Poverty Alleviation". The Wanyang Scholarship of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College was donated by Su Xiaofeng, an alumnus and chairman of Wanyang Group, the first graduate of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College, on behalf of the group, totaling 5 million yuan. Among them, 30 students are selected each academic year for awards, with each receiving 10,000 yuan, which is the highest single scholarship set up since the establishment of Wenzhou Vocational and Technical College; 40 students are selected for financial aid, with each receiving 5,000 yuan.
